BECAUSE OF YOU!

The "BBS" (Bulletin Board System) was sort of a forerunner to today's chat sites

Hello to all of you out there,
I’m just sitting here killing time.
Sometimes I like to express myself,
But I prefer to do it in ‘rhyme’
There is really nothing special
that I have upon my mind…
I guess it’s a poetic answer,
That I’m really expecting to find!
 
We can discuss the price of eggs,
Or probe deeper into politics.
But the aspect I appreciate most
Is how this BBS helps our minds to click.
 
This ‘Forum’ idea… I think is great!
We can express just what we feel,
On politics, love, and even war,
Or if our last purchase was a good deal.
 
I guess what I like most of all is,
We are free to speak about what we wish,
I can talk right now about politics…
Or I can speak of that evasive fish!
 
You know the one I’m speaking of..
The one that got away!
Where else can we converse like this
Except in the good ‘ol U.S. of A?
 
She has her faults, you better believe,
But she’s growing, and learning too.
Dear Lord, Thank You for blessing us.
America is great, because of YOU!
