DISK DRIVING MAN
Fred, something now that you should know: I’m typing away, like mad.
I put what I could into this machine Which, in the beginning was really
bad! I wouldn’t call it perfect now.. Much improved, yes, I’d say
that. I took five pounds of eraser dust out, And I’m not sure...I think
an old RAT! Well, maybe that’s exaggerating a bit, There’s not a
rat anywhere in the house! Besides, a rat is too big to fit, It was
smaller, I think it’s a mouse! This story is getting quite ridiculous
now, As you can see, I’m testing my work. This machine types very
smoothly, and clear. And on the ‘returns’ it no longer jerks! Well
Fred, my message is this: I think I’ve done all I can. I hope in a short
time to come, You’ll be known as “The Disk-Driving Man”! Your Friend,
Joe (repaired an old typewriter for Fred....so he could sell it and
purchase a disk drive for his computer).. 8-30-85
