LADIES OF THE NIGHT
I've heard the terminology used so many times before, I always thought I
knew what that name meant; But lately I've come to learn these are
different 'Ladies of the Night', Like the ones into my life the Lord has
sent! It seems it was necessary that I be hospitalized for a term,
The best of care is what I constantly received. Late at night when I
couldn't sleep these Ladies were always there.. Being a good nurse is not
an easy life, you'd better believe! They rub my back, and bring me tea
And take my excess blood! I'll tell you the truth, of all the nurses I've
met I've yet to expose a 'dud'. These 'Ladies of the night', and
day... Are certainly not over-rated. When you watch them work, you soon
understand What it means to be DEDICATED! It can't be just for the
pay they get, They must have a deep-down concern, To make the ills of
this world somewhat less; And at that job we should all take a turn.
But we don't, not all of us anyway, Some of us just talk or write... But
let me at least share my prayer with you: "Jesus, please Bless these
Special "Ladies of the Night"! (P.S. "Where's that dumb
nurse..? These lights are keeping me awake!" (I love you all!
Keep it up and some day these doctors MAY learn from you what they don't teach
in 'med-school'!)
