LIVE IT FOR OUR LORD

I’ve met a lot of people who
Describe their ages in different ways:
One says he’s ‘thirty-nine and holding’,
But he knows ‘white lies’ don’t pay!
 
Another says he’s ‘over the hill’,
But that shouldn’t cause a frown.
Remember.. going UP a hill
Is much harder than going DOWN!
 
One lady I know found a tricky way
Of fooling ‘Ol Father Time’:
When she reaches the age of ninety-three,
She’ll turn it around to thirty-nine!
 
Bear with me friends and forgive me please,
If I’m coming across too bold.
But it’s MY theory we shouldn’t waste our life
Worrying about becoming OLD!
 
Well, today our Mary has a birthday;
But you’ll not see her frown or being bored.
She’s learned the secret of staying beautiful for LIFE:
It’s simply living life for our Lord!
