Look In The Mirror, Tam!

Feeling down, no self esteem?
Like you really don’t matter at all?
Like you’ve nothing to offer of any value….
Want to just blend-in with the wall?
 
Well, you’re not the first, who’s felt that way,
And it’s for certain you won’t be the last.
The devil loves it when we throw-in the towel
And become smothered by things of the past.
 
Well, there is hope you better believe,
The Word says, “He’s stronger within, than without”.
We’ve got the absolute Winner on our side,
Shake those blues and get rid of that pout!
 
Walk up to that mirror and take a good look,
Don’t listen to all the devil’s bunk!
Thank the Lord for making you as He did…
He made YOU, and He doesn’t make Junk!
 
That’s a wonderful person, there that you see,
Aren’t you happy He made me and you?
He wants you to be happy, not all down and out,
God’s children don’t have time to be blue!
 
We have so much to be thankful for…
Our loved ones, family and home
Now start thanking the Lord for all that you have,
And say, “Hello mirror!  I’m not alone!
 
God made me and I’m not junk!
Hello world, here I am…
Take me now, for what you see…
A happy and a determined Tam!
