LOVE, HERE AND NOW

"Love" is such a simple little word,
So easy to say, and to spell.
I've spent a lifetime writing what love really is,
But now, there's more I want to tell.
 
I've tried before, and not done too well,
So it's not definitions I'll talk about now.
No, this time I'm speaking of love in ACTION;
How it's being shown......right here and now!
 
I find myself 'laid-up' for a spell
They say my 'ticker' needs a rest.
Medication and rest, well that's O.K.
But I find it's LOVE, that heals best.
 
You may wonder why I'm rambling on;
It's because to define LOVE is really quite 'hairy'.
I guess what I'm actually trying to say, is
MY definition of LOVE is simply.....'Mary'!
 
Yes, Mary, that four letter word,
That's the best way I know how
To understand LOVE, and share with you;
She IS love!  Right here and Now!
