ONE WAY TICKET TO HELL!

This is a test....merely a test:
And to all God’s creatures it’s put out.
Happy times, and sad times too,
We’ll face them both friend, without a doubt!
 
You see, it’s basically simple,
But there is something we need to know.
We need a ‘check-point’ on our emotions,
That will control just how far they will go.
 
If allowed to run rampant and wild,
They will get totally out of hand.
We’ll be a loser, and they’re a dime a dozen,
Losers are not much in demand.
 
This restrainer, or check-point that I offer
Needs to be stronger than its opponent will be.
Our Lord Jesus, my friend, is the answer.
That’s the truth, you can take it from me.
 
You say you require more proof?
That my word is not quite enough?
Then just turn to the pages of your bible,
It’s filled with some convincing stuff!
 
Its rules, that in truth you probably knew
Might well ‘ruffle your feathers’, to be sure.
But if we’ll let go of OUR way, for HIS,
We learn that Jesus really IS the cure!
 
You see, he gave us a will of our own,
Now how much fairer could He have been?
And in exercising this gift: our free will,
It, so often can end up in sin!
 
Then, what do we do, and where do we go?
Let me tell you something, Pal,
If left on our own, the choices we make
Can be a one way ticket to hell!
 
We need this check-point that I speak of.
Without it, we would all be lost.
We need to evaluate the way that we’re living,
His words are, “count the cost”.
 
Well, what will we do?  How will we choose?
That choice friend, is given to US.
We can choose a ‘one way ticket to hell’
Or be Saved........by choosing JESUS!
