THIRTY-NINE, AND HOLDING!

Golden Slipper is a lucky woman,
And so is Pink Champagne.
They both have something in common,
Listen closely, and I'll explain:
 
They know someone they can look up to,
Who's tall in stature and character too.
We all know who these words describe:
The one and only, "One Wooden Shoe"!
 
I met Wooden Shoe on the 2-way one night,
He has a voice most ladies adore.
But to tell the truth, I met him through
A sweeter voice that says, "Teyn Four"!
 
You got it, it's the "Golden Slipper",
Her voice puts the blues on the run.
She introduced me to the One Wooden Shoe,
Since then, it's been nothing but fun!
 
This party today, we owe to the 'Slipper'.
She's tried so hard to pull a surprise.
So to get Scott here, for that sweet little dear
We've had to tell him a few white lies!
 
Now that he's here, with so many of his friends,
We hope we'll not hear his scolding.
He's famous TOO, for those little white lies;
He still says he's 'Thirty-Nine, and Holding'!
 
There's only one problem he might run into
If he continues along this vein...
Soon he'll find he's younger than his daughter,
And that might confuse Pink Champagne!
 
Well things can happen when you meet a C.B.'er
And, as they say on the air, 'shake his paw'...
It won't be long, old Thirty-Nine and Holding...
You'll soon have an OLDER son-in-law!
