I wrote a ditty, and sent it to you.
It began, “Roses are Red, and Violets are blue”!
You came down on me... said it wasn’t my style;

LOVE
 
There’s a gal I know, who’s married to Fred.
Always cleaning the house, or making a bed.
She has a secret, I wonder if she’ll tell?
A smile from her makes her kids feel ‘all well’.
 
She shares with Fred, over his latest toy,
With FOUR girls to her credit, he’s her only boy.
She chauffers school kids, to and fro,
But still finds time for Mary and Joe!
 
She picks fresh berries, and makes sweet jel,
Tends to the pets that the kids like so well.
Have you guessed her secret?  A gift from above?
Well my friend, It’s simply called “LOVE”.
