TWO YEARS TODAY

It’s been two years today,
How fast the time goes!
How many more are in store,
Only God knows;
 
But let me tell you now
Mary, my wonderful wife:
You’ve given special meaning
And purpose to my life.
 
“We can’t out-give the Lord”,
I’ve no doubt that saying is true.
My prayer was for the right woman for me,
And, Praise God!  He sent me YOU!
 
You’re all a man could ever want,
You love the Lord, and somehow, me too!
It’s been two years I’m grateful for,
Let’s aim for a hundred and two!
 
Well, that may be stretching things a bit,
We have to be realistic, I suppose.
But just the same, I want you to know,
I’m the happiest of ALL Papa Joes!
